The library doesn’t have an item I want – can I request it?
Sure! We love hearing about the titles patrons want to read and do our best to fulfill these requests.
However, please note that a number of factors come into play, including, but not limited to: price of the material, the release date of the material, or how popular the material may be to our patrons.
If we are unable to order a book you requested, you may also request an interlibrary loan.
I’ve lost my library book – what do I do?
Hey, things happen! If you’ve lost your library book, please let our staff know. We do ask that you pay a replacement fee of half of the book’s value. If the book is a new release, a replacement fee for the entire value of the book may be requested.
If you find the book later, you own the book.
What if I know where the book is, but the dog ate it?
If your library book has been damaged, please let our staff know. We do ask that you pay a replacement fee of half of the book’s value. If the book is a new release, a replacement fee for the entire value of the book may be requested.
